For veterans - Tai Chi classes are available to VA patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the Recreation Hall (Building 2) on the Albuquerque campus of the Raymond G. Murphey VA Health Care Center. Taos: The Art of Moving An Exercise Group for People with Movement Disorders Classes meet on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Classes are $10.00 per person, per session. They are based on the work of John Argue. These weekly exercise sessions, held in a safe supportive environment, focus on flexibility, balance and coordination. Progression will include mindful breathing and movement practice. Guidance is provided by Aura Garver who has several years experience working with clients with Parkinson's and other movement difficulties.
